This full color card was issued 102 years ago by Arnaud in Belgium. This beautiful card was originally produced as educational item for use in schools across France in conjunction with food manufacturers. Most would have been stuck into text books but this one has escaped relatively unscathed. The front of the card shows a colored drawn picture of the Poodle by the artist Joseph Porphyre Pinchon, while the back of the card is blank. The card measures c 3" x 2 1/4" or 76mm x 55mm. This is an extremely rare card. This card has printed the name of the breed on the front in French and in Dutch. This card was glued in an album; it was removed as carefully as possible, but very slight damage on the back occurred. Please see the scan.
