This very rare card was issued 92 years ago by Sweetacres Champion Chewing Gum. This beautiful card is from a set of 48 cards entitled "Favourite Dogs" to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium and was inserted into a packet of gum. The front of the card shows an artist photographic type picture of the Afghan Hound , while the back of the card has some details about the breed. This card is very hard to find. The card measures 2 5/8" x 1 1/2" or 65mm x 39mm. This card has some stains on the front, but still collectable. Please see the scan.
