This real photo card was issued 72 years ago by Blue Cap Cheese. This beautiful card is from a set of 144 cards entitled "Flixies" (12 of them are dogs) to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium with the purchase of cheese. It is a transparency (filmlike) showing a Cocker Spaniel. The card measures ca 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" or 38mm x 35mm.
