This full color card was issued 62 years ago by Fromageries Grosjean Freres in France. It is from a set of 80 cards entitled "Nos Amis Les Chiens" (Our Friends the Dogs). The front of the card shows a colored artistic photographic picture of the Grand Bleu de Gasconge. It is made of thin paper and has breed information on the back (in French). It was given as a free premium with the purchase of cheese and was meant to be kept in a special album. The card measures ca 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" or 70mm x 55mm.This card was glued in an album; it was removed as carefully as possible, but very slight damage on the back occurred, but still very collectable.
