This full color card was issued 92 years ago by "C.E. Rich & Sons". This beautiful card is from a set of 162 cards entitled "Danske Husdyr - Hunde (Danish Domestic Animals - Dogs)" to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium with the purchase of coffee. The front of the card shows a delightful artistic photographic picture of the German Shepherd or the Alsatian, while the back has breed information in Danish. The card measures ca 2 5/8" x 1 7/8" or 65mm x 45mm. This is a very rare card. The card was glued in an album; it was removed as carefully as possible, but very slight damage on the back occurred.
