Pupier Trade Card from 1930
Greyhound
This full color card was issued 94 years ago by Pupier in France. This beautiful card is from a set of 40 cards entitled "Les Chiens" (The Dogs) to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium with the purchase of Pupier Chocolate. The front of the card shows a colored artistic drawn picture of the Greyhound, while the back of the card has information about this breed (in French). The "bite" at the side of the card is not a flaw in the card but rather a cancellation mark by the issuer when the card was redeemed. The card measures c 2" x 2.75" or 51mm x 68mm. This is a very rare card.
