"Dogs II" Liebig from 1961

full color card was issued 63 years ago by Liebig's Extract of Meat
Co. This beautiful card is from a set of 6 cards entitled "Breeds
of Dogs II". The front of the card shows an artist drawn picture
of the Bouvier and German Shepherd, while the back of the card has breed
information in Dutch. The Liebig Company (founded 1856) is the world's
most prolific issuer of cards for collectors. In the period from 1872
to 1973 they issued over 1800 sets of cards in many different languages,
usually in sets of six. The card measures 2 3/4" x 4 3/8"
or 70mm x 110mm.
