This very rare bicolor matchbox label was issued 78 years ago in China in the year of the dog. This beautiful label is number 8 from a subset of 46 matchbox labels. The front of the label shows an artistic drawn picture of the Tibetan Mastiff, while the back of the label is blank. This is a fairly scarce label from the Mao's time and his "Cultural Revolution". The label measures 2" x 1 1/4" or 50mm x 30mm.
