"Dogs of the World" from 1912

West Highland White Terrier

This full color card was issued 112 years ago by Cope Bros. This beautiful card is from a set of 50 cards entitled "Dogs of the World" to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium and was inserted into a packet of cigarettes. The front of the card shows an artistic drawn picture of the West Highland White Terrier by the famous artist Cecil Aldin, while the back of the card has a brief description of the breed. This is a very rare and difficult to find card. The card measures 2 5/8" x 1 3/8" or 65mm x 35mm.
